Now the Managing Director for ISO MarketStance, Fritz is the Founder of MarketStance. In addition to his role as CEO, Fritz serves as the lead engineer for the company's information and analytical efforts. He invented the system of mathematical and statistical techniques at the heart of the ISO MarketStance products. A seasoned economist and a talented statistician completely at home with the latest statistical methods, Fritz also has a deep understanding of the insurance industry through his SVP role at Conning & Company and his insurance research and financial economics positions at Aetna Life & Casualty. As a Sr. Economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C., his experience in the Federal government gives Dr. Yohn an intimate knowledge of government data sources - their strengths and limitations -- which further enhances the capabilities of ISO MarketStance.
President of ISO Solutions
As president, Ms. Fitzgerald oversees the development of tools that use timely and cost-effective predictive modeling to improve insurers’ risk assessment and decision analytics. She is also responsible for ISO’s core products and services—such as advisory prospective loss costs (projections of future claims), policy forms, underwriting rules, and related information—that most U.S. insurers use to write one or more lines of commercial or personal business. Under Ms. Fitzgerald’s leadership, ISO continues to meet the dynamic needs of today’s insurers. ISO reviews and monitors legislative bills, regulatory actions, and court decisions and provides insight on many issues to federal and state entities and to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). ISO also collects and compiles data from insurers, acts as statistical agent for all U.S. insurance regulators, supplies actuarial and data management consulting services, and conducts cutting-edge research on various issues in property/casualty insurance.
Ms. Fitzgerald is active on several boards, including the Northeast Chapter of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF). She is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. She is also a member and currently serves as Vice Chair of Finance of the Actuarial Standards Board (ASB).
Sr. Client Advocate, ISO MarketStance
As the Sr. client advocate, Betsy is focused on serving ISO MarketStance’s client base by answering any Helpdesk queries, training new and experienced clients and providing explanations for database and online platform questions while functioning as a client liaison to the rest of the ISO MarketStance staff. As a member of the Sales Organization, Betsy is one of “voices of the client” for new product development and changes to the existing products and services suite. Betsy joined ISO MarketStance in 2013 from ING with 13 years of achievements in marketing, business development and customer relationship management including training as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Regional Relationship Director (RRD), ISO MarketStance
As a RRD, Crystal works with regional and super-regional carriers on enhancing marketing, underwriting and product development activities through the use of market intelligence. Prior to joining ISO MarketStance, Crystal was an agent in the Connecticut P&C and L&H market for 5 years. She has handled all aspects of the agent role from managing branch locations, writing new business, managing renewals, processing claims and acquiring a book of business. Crystal’s background as an agent helps her work closely with her clients on communicating appetite to their distributors and understanding local market opportunity.
Marketing & Sales Analytics Manager, AIG Commercial Marketing
Christie is an Insurance Marketing & Communications professional, first starting with AIG in 2007 and 2008 as Summer Associate with the Executive Liability and Excess Casualty Underwriting teams. Christie rejoined AIG in 2011 as Marketing Assistant (and later, Marketing Analyst), spending over 5 years with the Boston Region Business Development team before joining AIG Commercial Marketing as Marketing & Sales Analytics Manager in November 2016.
VP, Research & Development, ISO MarketStance
Eric manages the research and development team at ISO MarketStance who is responsible for developing, revising, updating, and controlling quality for all ISO MarketStance commercial and personal lines data products. Among their many accomplishments are the re-engineering of the exposure and forecast estimates, modeling the commercial inland marine market by subline, adding umbrella, excess, medical professional, and homeowners coverages, and creating niche products for use in the higher education and commercial habitational sectors, plus revamping the core Crime Advisor model. Eric joined ISO MarketStance as a consultant in 2006; prior to joining ISO MarketStance, Eric was an adjunct professor of economics at Framingham State College and Quinnipiac and Northeastern Universities, where he was awarded for the innovative use of technology in teaching macroeconomics.

The market research that stems from Kyle’s team at Chesapeake Employers helps the company identify industries offering opportunities for profitable growth. Kyle works in collaboration with appointed agents and underwriters and marketing representatives at Chesapeake Employers to aggressively pursue new business opportunities and profitably increase written premiums and market share. Kyle has 6 years of experience within the Commercial P&C industry. He recently earned a CPCU designation and he holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration-Finance from Johns Hopkins University.

Paul has over 25 years in the P&C industry, first starting on the brokerage side with Blue Ridge/Burke Insurance (now BB&T) in North Carolina, and then later as Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Chubb. Paul joined AIG in 2007 as a consultant with AIG’s Strategy & Management Solutions Group, and followed the Group when it migrated into a newly formed worldwide commercial marketing operation in 2013.
Tom E. Quinn, CPCU and ARM

Tom ‘s position is focused on developing and enhancing MarketStance’s product and services for use in risk assessment and underwriting desk and strategy applications. Tom also serves as a member of the MarketStance analysis team delivering custom analytical solutions for underwriting management and provides support for clients. A 33 year P&C underwriting veteran, Tom has experience in primary and excess property and casualty lines and in all aspects of large and middle market account underwriting and product development. Prior to MarketStance Tom held roles for Royal & SunAlliance Insurance as the Underwriting VP, Commercial Lines; Travelers Property Casualty as VP, Construction Underwriting; and various positions in underwriting, field management and claims administration with Aetna Casualty and Surety.

William Wilt is the president of Assured Research, a boutique research firm producing subscription content focused on business development, financial, legal, claim and other topics relevant to (re)insurance professionals. Clients of Assured Research include global and U.S. focused (re)insurers, brokers, and consulting firms writing or controlling some $125 billion in premiums. Assured Research also provides analytical content for the insurance investment community. Bill’s nearly 30-year career in insurance encompasses a range of professional roles. Bill began his career as an actuary at a major reinsurance company and continued in the actuarial profession at a Big Four accounting firm. Bill spent five years as a senior analyst at Moody’s Investors Service, followed by seven years at Morgan Stanley, where he was the lead equity analyst following over 20 (re)insurance stocks. Prior to forming Assured Research, Bill worked in corporate development at two insurance companies where he oversaw M&A, risk management and business development, as well as rating agency relations. Bill is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Chartered Financial Analyst with degrees from Franklin and Marshall College and New York University’s Stern School of Business.
